 HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY 

        At the occasion of Independence day it is my pleasure to inform you that Honourable State Chief Commissioner, KVS BS&G approved the Minutes-2012 including:-

            Sub:-  1. Community Service/ Development Project of KVS BS&G and

        2. Recognition of KVS BS&G Adult Leader at Vidyalaya, Region

           and  KVS National Level-reg.

 Introduction:- I am to say that KVS adopted “The Sustained Community Service Project” of KVS BS&G called ‘HAD Programme’ since the year 1996, it is a pace setting Community Service/ Community Base Scouting by Scouts and Guides and adult Leaders of the movement which is related to Health Awareness Drive (‘HAD Programme’).

In this regard, it is approved that ‘HAD Programme’ will be reinforced with 6 MYP (Micro Yoga Practices) of KVS BS&G by introducing it in KVS BS&G activities at all levels:-

i.              It is also approved that the KVS BS&G Adult Leader (SM/ GC/ CM/ FL etc.) who contribute in other’s life of 200 persons (not belonging to his/her KV and family) will be suitably recognised at School Level. The other relevant detail is as under:-

a.  That the contribution is to be measurable “Community Development Work”.

b.  That is to be conducted with the help of his/ her Trained Unit Members (Rovers/ Rangers/ Scouts/ Guides/ Cubs/ Bulbuls).

c.   That it should be compulsorily supported by anyone health related Proficiency Badge (such as Herbalist, Hospital Man, First Aider, Yoga, Nutrition Educator, Public Health, Sanitation Promoter, Drug Awareness, Sick Nurse, Cancer Awareness etc.) or 6-MYP (6 Micro Yoga Practices which were selected by NTC BS&G in the 1^st Course of Yoga Instructors in 2008 this course was Directed by the Leader Trainer of KVS).

d.      That the beneficiary should not be less than 200 persons.

e.      That the Adult Leader should have the Published Record (Published Report in Vidyalaya Patrika or website of KV concerned/ Photographs/ KVS BS&G Blog/ Facebook/ Videos on YouTube/ Local media Report in News paper/ KVS BS&G MDCA (My Dairy of Contribution and Achievement)/  etc.

f.      That the Report/ Record should be verified by his/ her officer/ Group Leader-Principal).

          The Adult Leader of KVS BS&G who will fulfil all conditioned mentioned above (from a to f) will be suitably recognised at School Level.

ii.          As above, if 2,000 persons benefited then he/she will be suitably recognised at the Regional Level by the Dy. Commissioner KVS of concerned Region.

iii.         As above, if 5,000 persons benefited then he/she will be recognised at the KVS National Level.

      Dear LTs, ALTs and Unit Leaders, you are requested to create awareness about this Project of KVS in best possible manner.
